Ethanol Production Line, with the presence of Dr. Mansour Gholami, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, a group of managers of this ministry and also the chairman, deputies, managers and a group of faculty members of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Center of Iran (CCERCI), is opened.

To play an effective role in helping to overcome coronavirus using the facilities available in the institute, Researchers at Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Iran were successfully developed and installed a production line in less than 14 days to produce ethanol. New technology has been developed to shorten the fermentation time from 10 days to only 20 hours. High yield, reliable and environmental friendly procedure is resulted from this newly developed fermentation method.
