Hamed Golmohammadi
Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry
Faculty member of Analytical Chemistry Department
Head of Nanosensor Bioplatforms Laboratory,
Hamed Golmohammadi obtained his BSc in Applied Chemistry, at the University of Bu-Ali Sina, Hamadan, Iran in Sep 2006. He completed his MSc and PhD in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Shahid Chamran, Ahvaz, Iran in Sep 2015. He also worked at Production Technology Research Institute (PTRI), Ahvaz, Iran (2008-2016) as a senior researcher and at Nanobioelectronics & Biosensors Group at the ICN2 (Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology), Barcelona, Spain in 2014, as visiting PhD student. He was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Sharif University of Technology (2016-2017). He is currently an Assistant Professor at Chemistry&Chemical Engineering Research Center of Iran (CCERCI). His main research interests are focused on the development of novel (nano)paper-based analytical devices, particularly using plasmonic, colorimetric, photoluminescent NPs and nature-based materials, as (bio)chemical kits for application in (bio)sensing technology, whose results aim at displaying analytical information related to various fields such as clinical/medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, food safety and so forth.
Research Interests
-Design & fabrication of (nano)paper based sensors
-Design & fabrication of optical (bio)sensors & sensor arrays using Plasmonic, Photoluminescent and nature-based NPs
-Smartphone-based (bio)sensors for Point-of-Care Testing (POCT)
-Design & fabrication of Micro/Nanomotors for (bio)sensing and environmental applications
-Point-of-use water disinfection using bio-nanocomposites
-Smart & wound healing dressings.
