Mojtaba Mirzaei obtained his MS in Organic chemistry from CCERCI (1998-2000) and PhD in Applied chemistry from Tehran university (2012-2017).
In MS, he worked on aminoalkylation of phenols and indoles along with Amination of arylbromides in the presence of palladium catalyst under microwave irradiation. In Ph.D he evaluated the efficiency of the ionic liquid loaded mesoporous silica supports in CO2 adsorption process. He joined the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Research Center of Iran (CCERCI) at 2000.
His research encompassed new Methodologies in Organic Synthesis including Green Chemistry, Synthesis of Bioactive Molecules and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Acid Gas Removing by the Neat and Porous Solid Supported Ionic Liquids
